Wednesday, 01. December 2010, 17:30 Uhr |
Karin Wiltschke: Salt trade made the population of Dürrnberg near Salzburg wealthy during the time of the Celts. But how did these people actually live? The preparation of the human skeletons from a complete cemetery yielded insights into the burial rituals, demography and epidemiology of this group. Karin Wiltschke demonstrates anthropological research methods and presents the first results obtained from this burial ground.
